Penguin Web Solutions developed its first website in 2000 for the holder of a National Plant Collection® of Thyme.   This site was awarded the accolade of 'Website of the Month' by BBC Gardeners' World magazine in 2002.   Since then the complexity of this site has been significantly increased by the addition of over 100 graphics images, such that it is over seven times the size it was in 2002, using server memory usage as a basis.   Included is the nursery catalogue with online ordering facilities using a 'shopping basket' method.   The site has been the 'test bed' for new programming concepts and has undergone improvements using CSS, significantly more JavaScript and a link added to online translation into foreign languages where the navigation buttons are translated as well as the text in each page:  www.thymus.co.uk.

A reconstruction exercise was done on an artist's site.   This had been badly constructed, subsequently tinkered with and much of it had failed to work.   The client agreed to the proposed wholesale reconstruction and the task also incorporated recent updates to collections:   www.transparentimages.com.
