'Oliver Cromwell', Great Central Railway

Monday 5th and Sunday 18th May 2008

Two visits in May 2008 to see the newly restored 'Britannia' Class 7 Pacific, No. 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' in action.
Its first run hauling passengers was on 3rd May with the last train of the day and photos were published on the
internet.  The Bank Holiday Monday was a fine day so I decided to go and see this magnificent loco then.
The Great Central organised 'Stars of the 1960s', for the weekend a fortnight later and we went on the Sunday.
