Winter Gala Weekend, Great Central Railway

Sunday 27th January 2008

The annual Winter Gala. This year's guest locos were GWR 'Hall' No. 4953 'Pitchford Hall' and LMS 4F No. 44422.
'Pitchford Hall ' was a late replacement for 'West Country' No. 34007 'Wadebridge' which was damaged by a fire
in the cab while at the Mid Hants Railway at Ropley. They joined the resident locos, 'King Arthur' No.30777
'Sir Lamiel', GWR 2-6-2T No. 4141, LMS 8F 2-8-0 No. 48305 and Standard Class 2 2-6-0 No. 78019.
